Union & shop stewards praise Fishcor

To commemorate International Worker’s Day, FISHCOR is pleased to announce that all 600 former employees of the Seaflower Pelagic Processing (SPP) have received their April salaries, as per their fixed-term contracts. The employees will report for duty on 3rd of May 2021 until their contract period ends on the 31st of December 2021, at Venmar Fishing Pty Ltd.

The union and shop stewards stated that “As former SPP workers, we are honoured, deeply touched and inspired by what the Fishcor Acting CEO and the Board of Directors have done to sustain our livelihoods, we want to offer our thanks in abundance.”

Interim Group Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Ruth Herunga is pleased to inform the public that they have restored the pride and dignity of all former SPP employees, and she wants to thank all Group employees for being team players and their consistent hard work.
